From December 19 to 21, 2025, the 2025 5th International Conference on Mechatronics, Automation and Intelligent Control (MAIC 2025) was held at Lingnan Normal University in Zhanjiang. The conference brought together over 300 renowned experts and scholars in the fields of mechatronics, automation, and intelligent control. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest research trends and technological frontiers within these fields, effectively fostering deep integration and collaborative development between academia and industry. Hosted by Lingnan Normal University, co-organized by Guangdong University of Technology, and supported by IEEE, the conference received backing from Intelligence & Robotics, Harbin Institute of Technology, South China University of Technology, Southwest University, Guangdong University of Technology, Dalian University, and Harbin University of Science and Technology. Opening Ceremony

ProfessorYu Tang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Lingnan Normal University, extended sincere greetings to attendees on behalf of the organizers in his opening address.Qiang Jiang, Director of the Zhanjiang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, attended the event and delivered remarks.
