Prof. Guoquan Huang, Jinan University

Guoquan Huang is a professor of the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering of Jinan University, the director of the Institute of Internet of Things and Logistics Engineering, and a doctoral supervisor. He is a National Overseas High-level Talent, Guangdong Major Talent Program Selectee, Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IET Fellow), Chartered Engineer (CEng), and Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME Fellow). He has held 35 part-time academic positions, including Editor of IJCIM Asia-Pacific Region, Associate Editor of IJPR, and Regional Editor of BMIJRED. Over the years, he has been engaged in the research of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent logistics, meta-networking, system analysis, etc. He has published more than 400 professional academic papers, including more than 300 papers indexed by SCI, EI, and ISTP, and his papers have been widely cited by his peers, and many of them have become the most widely cited articles of the global “Top 1%” in the related fields, and he has been the most widely cited article of the global “Top 1%” in the related fields. He is one of the “TOP 1%” most widely cited scholars in the related fields. He has published 25 monographs (translations) and authorized more than 30 patents, and has undertaken more than 30 key research projects, with an accumulated research fund of more than HK$150 million. He has been awarded 17 prizes, including the First Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education of China, the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangdong Province, and the Science and Technology Cooperation Award of Guangdong Province.
